Building Simulation Technical Training

RLW Analytics conducts DOE-2 training workshops to introduce utility staff, energy managers, or other interested parties to the DOE-2 building simulation program and our model calibration methodology. Elementary DOE-2 modeling classes cover fundamentals of data collection, modeling, and the analysis of results. The aim of more advanced sessions is to train new users so that they will be able to create DOE-2 input files, run them using weather data of their choice, and evaluate the simulation output using both standard DOE-2 reports and RLW Analytics' Visualize-IT™ data analysis software.

Engineering / Energy Management

While many clients have fundamental engineering skills, others require assistance with some of the applied engineering expertise and cumulative experience. Marketing personnel may be key users of the results, yet not be familiar with some of the basic engineering principles that drive them.
